Art and Game

Artist:
Thavorn Ko-udomvit and a group of children
Date:
June 14, 2007 - July 4, 2007

The artworks of this exhibition are a combination of artistic thoughts and the expression stemmed from different personalities. Determining my artistic thinking pattern is completed by the expressive instinct of the great artists whom we call "children".

Childhood is the age of creation as there is no limit of imagination. Children are not bound to any specific form of expression. They have endless power for learning. Children should be free from any fear when expressing themselves. Thavorn Ko-udomvit, one of the artists of "Art and Game" exhibition, has unlocked the hidden potential of children by the use of games such as "music chair" and "jigsaw" artwork. This exhibition reflects the children's power of creation, ability and cognition without being interfered with the same old concept on art.
