“Tales from the Land of the Plateau” by Prasit Wichaya presents sculptures inspired by the artist’s long for his hometown which is Isan, the tableland in Northeast region of Thailand. Leading a simple life by relying on nature and folk wisdom, the artist creates a remarkable series of artworks that reflect the beautiful and tranquil atmosphere as well as the connection with the past lifestyle that mold him into his present self.
นิทรรศการ “เรื่องเล่าจากดินแดนที่ราบสูง” โดย ประสิทธิ์ วิชายะ นำเสนอผลงานประติมากรรมที่สร้างสรรค์จากแรงบันดาลใจในความโหยหาถิ่นฐานบ้านเกิดแดนอีสาน เนื่องด้วยวิถีชีวิตอันเรียบง่ายที่พึ่งพิงอาศัยธรรมชาติและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของบรรพบุรุษ ก่อให้เกิดแนวคิดในการสร้างงานศิลปะที่สื่อสะท้อนถึงบรรยากาศของความสงบ งดงาม และความผูกพันกับอดีตกาลที่หล่อหลอมตัวตนแห่งปัจจุบัน
