Author of the Past

“Author of the Past” began by questioning about individuality and memory of Pachara Piyasongsoot. Exercising his skillful hand and utilizing his ideas through metaphor, the artist successfully captures the disintegration, confliction and fear in humans’ mind and retells parts of his memoir, experiences and beliefs through his artworks. The creation of this series of art is, according to the artist, the exploration of ideas and some aspects of reality that allows us to interpret and apprehend them independently

"ประพันธกรจากอดีต" คือ นิทรรศการแสดงผลงานจิตรกรรมที่มีจุดเริ่มต้นจากการตั้งคำถามต่อตัวตนและความทรงจำของ พชร ปิยะทรงสุทธิ์ พชรได้รื้อถอนความทรงจำและความเชื่อของตนเองเพื่อค้นหาความจริงบางแง่มุม โดยอาศัยไวยากรณ์ของการอุปมาอุปมัยและใช้สัญลักษณ์เชิงเปรียบเทียบ(Metaphor) เพื่อถ่ายทอดความเสื่อมสลาย ความขัดแย้งและความกลัว ให้ออกมาเป็นภาษาทางจิตรกรรม ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้เราได้สัมผัสกับความคิดในเบื้องลึกที่แตกต่างกันออกไปตามแต่ประสบการณ์ของแต่ละคน
