Hair for Hope: The New Beginning is the latest solo exhibition by Imhathai Suwatthanasilp, presents a new series of mixed media artwork dealing with the idea of cycle of life. The artist still uses her weaving skill, crocheting human hair to represent the nature of life cycle that is existence and the ending of every creature, death. The nature’s creation shows in this exhibition such as butterfly implies fragility. Imhathai’s hair therefore symbolizes the decay of life and how delicate it can be.
