The "Recent Woodcuts by Akira Kurosaki" art exhibition is the first-time-ever solo exhibition in Thailand by the world-renowned Japanese printmaker Akira Kurosaki. The 71 years old artist who also has played an important role in the history of Japanese printmaking continues producing artworks contain his typical features such as the complex composition, the use of abstract forms, and grading color effects in which will be presented through the series of his latest woodcuts created during 1993-2005.
นิทรรศการ "Recent Woodcuts by Akira Kurosaki" เป็นการจัดแสดงผลงานเดี่ยวครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยของอากิระ คุโรซากิ ศิลปินภาพพิมพ์ชาวญี่ปุ่นวัย 71 ปี ผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ภาพพิมพ์ของญี่ปุ่นมาอย่างต่อเนื่องยาวนาน นิทรรศการนำเสนอผลงานภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้ชุดล่าสุด ซึ่งสร้างขึ้นตั้งแต่ช่วงปี ค.ศ.1993-2005 ผลงานภาพพิมพ์ของอากิระ คุโรซากิ มีความโดดเด่นในเรื่องการจัดวางองค์ประกอบที่สลับซับซ้อน การใช้รูปทรงนามธรรมที่แฝงความหมายและการใช้เทคนิคการไล่สีที่โดดเด่นเฉพาะตัว
