ARDEL Gallery of Modern Art
(Boromrachachonnanee Road)

Under the Auspices of the Chakri Dynasty is the latest printmaking exhibition by Pinit Phantaprawat, an expert in engraving and former banknote engraver who had worked for the Bank of Thailand from 1979 to 2015.
The exhibition Under the Auspices of the Chakri Dynasty exhibits a series of printmaking art that depicts King Rama 1 to 10 of the Chakri Dynasty and other members of the royal family revered by many Thai people. Each piece of art was created with meticulous details through the process of engraving, a task that requires experience and skill to master. The monarchs and royal family appear majestic while lines after lines were engraved on the plate, weaving together into beautiful and lifelike shapes that show the artist's reverence and devotion to all the members of the Chakri Dynasty.
