Fur Feather Fantasy is a ceramic art exhibition that welcomes visitors to step into a whimsical realm shaped by various animal forms. The words “fur” and “feather” represent animals, whereas “fantasy” refers to the boundless imagination. It is open for new interpretation without the need for these works to look realistic, while also hinting at the life of three-dimensional sculptures that blend the familiar with the surreal, the natural with the imagined.
Ceramics, which are solid, fragile, and motionless, are used to express lightness, softness, and dynamic movements. Such a difference is the core of this exhibition that invites the audience to question their perception of forms and feelings hidden underneath the surface of these art pieces.
Fur Feather Fantasy, therefore, is a space where artists and their audience explore the fantasy world together through the forms of these objects whose titles are not fixed necessarily, yet available for free interpretation.
