The exhibition "Figure Out" invites you to explore yourself through the unique art pieces of experts in Figurative art. The five bold and outstanding artists are Ju Parichat Suphaphan who has been painting beautiful and sexy women to criticize the society's beauty standard for years; Guilin Anchalee Arayapongpanit who creatively painted her pictures through several characters in movies, series, animations, etc. to communicate her inner need that is difficult to put into words; Lek Torpong Choeichom who created the portraits of young women in everyday poses that are gentle, soft, and uniquely memorable; Hongtae Konthorn Taecholarn whose works display his unique drawings and the cloud-headed character floating in the sweet-colored sky that reflects a happy moment he gets to be with himself, and Wanda Chaima, the up and coming female artist who creates surrealistic art from overlapping dimensions that display a variety of emotions and identities of human.
Art is one of the means of communication human beings have used ever since prehistoric times. Even in the modern era, it is still the medium that elicits emotions and thoughts without the need for words. However, artistic creation, in a sense, can be similar to an exploration, understanding, and identity formation. A strong self can be reborn through experiences accumulated day by day, from happiness, sadness, the deep wound inside one's heart, or individual preferences or tastes. "Figure Out", therefore, stands firm among differences and the belief that everyone has their own worth. One does not have to be like others. Find yourself and be happy with who you are.
The exhibition "Figure Out" will be on display from August 21 - September 28, 2025. Open on Tuesday - Sunday from 10.00 - 18.00 hrs. (closed on Monday) For more information or Hi-res images, please contact: 08-7323-7577, 02-422-2092 (except Monday)
